The HP-2 head protection helmets uses adjustable trapeze paddings made of shock-absorbing foam to protect the upper head from injuries and trauma. Depending on the condition, this also allows airflow to regulate temperature.
Additionally the helmet can be supplemented with forehead and neck cushions filled with velcro strips and, therefore, providing additional protection.

The HP-2 soft special needs helmet is exceptionally light (cotton finish – 200 grams). It is comfortable even when worn for long periods.
The HP-2 has an adjustable chin strap as a standard that offers excellent hold and comfort. Meaning it should stay secure on the head, even during a fall.
Each HP-2 head protector is manufactured individually to order and supplied millimeter-perfect, which helps to keep it in place and protect when it is needed.

The cotton lining gives excellent moisture transport (wicking), the spaces in the top of the helmet help to regulate temperature and prevent overheating.
The leather version of the HP-2 also has a wicking lining which absorbs moisture and has gaps in the top to allow for improved airflow.
The cotton finish HP-2 soft helmet is hand washable at 40° and must be allowed to dry naturally.
The leather version can be spot cleaned or can be cleaned with a hypoallergenic leather cleaner & conditioner, which will “feed” the leather to keep it in good condition and help to extend the helmets’ life.
