Description

The Handicare 2000 twin-tube curved stairlifts are precisely tailored to your needs.

The Handicare 2000 stairlift is our budget model for curved stairs. It is a well-built machine manufactured in the West Midlands by Handicare Stairlifts. This stairlift will fit the majority of staircases, and its Internal Bend model hugs the newel post tighter than any other make. It comes in a choice of colours and has the benefit of most powered options. The Handicare 2000 is a well-established versatile stairlift system with some of the tightest track bends available from anyone; it can accommodate a wide range of staircase configurations and will hug the edge of your staircase.

The twin-tube system provides a safe and smooth ride, and whilst available in two colours as standard, light grey or gunmetal, it can be supplied in any colour to match your décor (at an additional charge).

What is a stairlift?

A Stairlift is an electronic device that aids the transportation of a person with mobility limitations up and down the stairs in a home. Typically, a Stairlift functions on a railing system which allows for a smooth and seamless trip from one floor to the other. Stairlifts are built to move at a slow pace along the staircase to ensure complete comfort and safety during use.

Through the evolution of Stairlifts, they are now fitted on the stair treads rather than on the wall. On top of this, Stairlifts can be fitted on curved staircases; although this can be a little more complicated to install.
