Special Needs Head Protection Helmets
Protective headwear, helmets & hats for those with special needs. Our head protection hats & helmets can be used for many & varied medical conditions including; autism (for head-banging), cerebral palsy, epileptic seizures, ADHD, bleeding disorders, neurological rehabilitation, haemophilia, traumatic brain injury or falls protection for the elderly and other developmental disabilities. They are available in a variety of standard sizes to fit adults or children, with custom sizes also available. A simple but effective way to reduce or prevent harm from impacts to the head.

Our head protection Helmets are designed to protect you or a loved one from impacts & harm to the head, most models can also be upgraded with more protection if required, by simply attaching front pad, rear pad or both to your head protector. These are fixed in position by heavy duty velcro strips which are pre-installed on many of our models, so can be attached or removed as desired.

Some other uses include head protection while bathing, hydrotherapy or swimming and as a multipurpose soft helmet to prevent harm to children and adults. Also, you can use them as general; special needs head protection: autism helmet, disability helmet or soft shell helmet for sports and other purposes. Our Perfect Fit™ service can be used to scan the users head with millimetre accuracy. It does not involve touching the user directly and it is therefore suited to those with sensory or touch/proximity issues.
The system is very quick and can complete a full scan in just a few minutes. It will allow us to produce a 3D printed head/mold that we use to build the head protector around, ensuring a comfortable fit that enables the protection to be worn for long periods of time without discomfort. It also helps to keep the head protection correctly positioned on the head.
