Innovative ergonomic seat
Insight-led design encourages a more upright seating position for enhanced independence and comfort. A 5° tilt encourages a natural squat position for toileting.
Comfortable armrests
Newly designed swing away and height-adjustable armrests. Optional pads offer a softer surface area and resting position for more comfort and increased support.
Unique tilt-in-space
The tilt-in-space mechanism means that during tilt, the chair now moves downwards and forwards which keeps the user’s centre of gravity close to that of the chair.
Greater adaptability
With an increased height adjustment range on the footrests and armrests.
Highly customisable
Available with an extensive range of seating and positioning, as well as safety and toileting accessories, that can be used to support a wide range of conditions and postural needs.
Aquatec Ocean 24” Ergo is a modular self-propelled shower chair commodes within the renowned Ocean Ergo range. The Aquatec Ocean Ergo shower chair family has been designed with comfort, independence, and dignity in mind.
Whilst designed to offer high levels of adjustments and configurability as standard, further customisation is now available with our latest range of accessories. Changing from the standard Ocean Ergo to a self-propelled Ocean 24” Ergo for example, can be done easily, thanks to the quick release wheels.
The Ocean 24” Ergo shower commode chair can accommodate larger users with its wider XL backrest option.
This latest design offers an innovative contoured ergonomic seat surface that is developed to encourage a more upright and stable seating position. When combined with the adjustable tension backrest, the Ergo promotes independence and overall comfort.
Enhanced stability at the front of the base allows for a smaller footprint and offers added safety and reassurance when seated in the chair, as well as allowing for a better fit over standard toilets for independent toileting.
